There is no publication in tourist information books, etc., so I wanted to stop by when I passed near the site. It was said that the pioneering history of Soya was on display, but unfortunately the door remained closed. It was supposed to be open.
About Horonobe Town by bus, I bought rice balls at the supermarket and ate them, and then looked at the map to see if there was anything, found a local museum and walked. It was closed when I arrived, but when I looked it up, it was just past 17:00, and I regret that I should have come first before eating.
According to the information I checked in advance, the museum should be open from 8:30 am on Sunday, but it was locked at 9:50 when I arrived and there was no sign of people. I waited until 10 o'clock, but there was no person who seemed to be involved, and I walked back to the station. The "Horonobe Town Migration Information PR Support Center" at the station also serves as a tourist information center, so when I asked a question, it was said that "the museum is closed due to leakage of rain". I think it's not about the information in advance, but how about not having a sticker on the site.

it's more than the history of horonobe
Many prehistoric relics and pioneering daily necessities were exhibited. Admission is free, so I don't think it's a loss to visit.
