I am not a particular fan of Santoka, but after I visited his birthplace, I would like to visit this museum. But it was unfortunately closed. Many museums in Japan are closed on Monday, but this one’s...
I'm embarrassed, but for the first time I learned about a so-called wandering poet named Taneda Santohi. You can enter the hall for free. However, when it comes to evaluation, it can only be said that it is neither good nor bad.
It is the Santobi Furusatokan that introduces the poet Santobi. It is quite a distance to walk from JR Hofu Station. I used a bicycle rental at the hotel where I was staying. I stopped by after visiting Hofu Tenmangu Shrine. You can visit it for free, but shooting is prohibited inside the building. It was good that even I, who didn't know Santobi, could know the works and history of Santobi.
I put it in for free. There is also a toilet, so I thought it was effective for sheltering from rain and taking a break. There was a considerable depth, and there were some exhibits, so I deepened my knowledge of Jiyu Ritsu haiku and Santobi. I think this is different for each person, but I got into the phrase of Yamato-hi. There was also an explanation about the haiku poets of the freedom of the neighborhood and other writers, and I became more interested in this area.
Santouhi Furusatokan is a facility with the theme of Taneda Santouhi, introducing the life of Santouhi and exhibiting materials. I'm glad it's free, so feel free to put it in. I learned a lot by touching the figure of Santo-hi who I had never known before.
