A beautiful building in a beautiful park, the Jenisch House was completed in 1834 and visiting it today you’ll still see representative halls with rich stucco and beautiful floors. Highlights of the ground floor are the Empire and Biedermeier art, furniture and sculptures. The second floor houses temporary art and cultural history exhibitions, typically from the 19th century. There are stunning views of the Elbe from its south side windows as well as a lovely café.
