If you like clocks and you happen to be in Hamada on the hour, this is the place to visit and watch the kagura clock. I wouldn't make a special trip, but it's interesting to watch.

JR Karakuri clock in the square in front of Hamada Station. Karakuri such as programs based on the legend of Yamata no Orochi are performed every hour during the day. The nickname of the watch is that children call Iwami Kagura "Donchichi". However, when I went, the machine was not working well and stopped.
