In the local area, this is a famous place for Buddhist tourism. Many tourism projects can be found here, very beautiful scenery, many cherry blossom trees.

东本愿寺函馆别院是本愿寺的花园，这里处于函馆的中心位置，地方不大。但内部非常的清幽，小桥流水古木参天非常的好，大家可以来参观一下。

寺院在去函馆山的半路上。是现代的水泥结构的寺庙。个人不是太喜欢。好在一路过去风景还不错 寺庙里面也算大。绿化也挺好。人不是太多 一般。

这个地方是在东本愿寺外面的很近的一个地方，规模就没有本寺那么大了，但是还是显得挺有风格的一个地方，可以连着东本愿寺一起参观。

这个可是混凝土钢筋的建筑，是日本最悠久的此类建筑寺庙。
