About 15 minutes walk from Hakodate tram before Hakodate. A tombstone stands quietly on the outskirts of the foreigner's graveyard. When the Edo Shogunate directly controlled Ezo in 1854, the Nanbu clan pioneered and guarded it, but many feudal retainers died of accidents and illness. 12 of them are enshrined here.
