Fortress site for defense of goryokaku
It is a fortress for defense of Goryokaku built 3km north of Goryokaku. It consists of an empty moat and a earthwork, and it seems that the original 々 building was not built. Currently, a toilet and an eastern house are installed and maintained as a park. Cherry blossoms are planted around it, and it seems that the locals are recognized as a famous place for cherry blossoms. It is well understood that the fortress at the time of construction was left in almost perfect condition and was considered as a defense base.
