About 40 years ago, it was a river of domestic drainage, dirty with domestic drainage. The sewerage was fully equipped and changed from domestic wastewater to a river of rainwater. I visited the upper reaches of the Mizunashi River in early March, and the "Okame Sakura and Rape Flowers" were very beautiful. The Mizunashi River is a second-class river of the Kaname River system that flows through Hadano City. It is said that the water source is Mt. Tono in the Tanzawa mountains, but it is an extended １１．５Ｋｍ river, so it is not a long river. The origin of the name Mizunagawa is explained in the temple, but in the past, Kobo Daishi said, "There is no kind person in the heart around here ...

It is known as a valley for those who climb the swamp, which can be enjoyed by advanced to beginners, and for those who walk on the ridge, it is known as a valley along the Okura ridge. In front of Hadano Station, it is known as a river park with beautifully arranged banks on both sides. I have various faces like this.

洪水になることのない水無川

今までに洪水になったことは一度もないそうです。実はこの水無川の下に水は流れているそうで、どんなに雨が降っても川の深さの半分くらいまで（パンジーなどボランティアの方々が植えている）だそうです。

空海

水無川の由来はここを通りかかった弘法大師が土地の人に食物をお願いした所 その農民は土を差し出してこれを食えと言ったそうです。弘法大師は怒り川の流れを地下に移動させてしまった。伝承ですから当てにはなりませんが秦野人の土地柄や気質を良く表している気がします。
