One-Day Tour in Dongguan | Guide to Daling Mountain Elevator Guanyin Temple
| Guide to Daling Mountain Elevator Guanyin Temple. This is the first time I've seen a temple with an elevator, which is truly a blessing for the lazy.
The temple is located deep in Daling Mountain in Dongguan, and it is said to have a history of more than 300 years. It is much larger than Hongfa Temple in Shenzhen, and it's both beautiful and photogenic.
⛩️ About the Temple ⛩️
1. No reservation is required for the temple, but it is recommended to go early as the roads are narrow and it can get congested during peak times.
2. The temple offers a self-service vegetarian meal from 11:00—14:00, for 25💰/person (which includes a 5💰 deposit, refundable in cash if you finish your meal).
3. Incense can be obtained at the entrance for 20💰/bundle, enough to worship all the deities.
4. The temple architecture is magnificent, and it is advised to dress neatly to avoid revealing too much.
5. It is forbidden to take photos of the Buddha statues⚠️, and do not step on the temple threshold❌.
6. Visiting duration: 1~2 hours, with a 🆓 elevator available so it won't be too tiring. If you like taking photos, it might take longer.
7. 300 meters to the right of the temple exit, there is a square lawn where you can see the full view of the Guanyin Temple, and it's a great spot for taking photos of people and scenery.
8. When the visit is almost over, call a taxi in advance to go down the mountain. There are also private cars available (15💰/person, but they only go to the foot of the mountain, which is not worth it❌).
🚌 Transportation:
It is recommended to drive there, there is a parking lot 🅿️ 300 meters near the temple.
(⚠️ There is no direct bus to the entrance of Guanyin Temple, the park entrance is about 5.3km from Guanyin Temple, and those who like hiking can also choose to walk up.)

It is indeed a relatively good combination of temples. The layers are extended to a high place. It has a three-dimensional feeling. The red and yellow buildings are particularly eye-catching. The elevator has several modern elements.
The original Dalingshan Guanyin Temple, once incense was full, and the high monks came out. Due to the changes of the times, after the war, the ancient temple was destroyed once, and the people who saw it couldn't help but sigh. Although the Guanyin Temple was rebuilt later, it was also magnificent, but it was a little less ancient.
Many Dongguan people like to go to Huangqi Mountain and Guanyin Mountain to worship God on the incense and pray for the health of their families, work smoothly and their wishes come true, but few people know that the most spectacular Guanyin Temple in Dongguan so far is hidden in the depths of Daling Mountain!
Worth going! Parking is free, that is, if you drive by yourself, you have to go early to have a parking space!
Very good place, the location is a bit biased!
