Shennv Lake Scenic Area

Shennv Lake is located at the northern end of the Yongchuan Ramp of the Chongqing-Kunming Expressway and at the southern foot of the beautiful Chashan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area. The scenic spot integrates garden elements such as mountains, water, forests, stones, pavilions, and corridors in one garden, and integrates fresh and elegant natural landscapes with classical and romantic humanistic grand views. It is a complex experiential ecological cultural park. The lake belongs to one of the "Three Lakes" projects in Yongchuan. The three lakes are: Xinglong Lake, Phoenix Lake and Shennv Lake. The park, with a total investment of 250 million yuan, broke ground in March 2010 and covers an area of about 1,000 mu, including about 200 mu of water and 800 mu of green landscape. Surrounding the water body of Shennv Lake, there is a harmonious combination of 160,000 square meters of Lakeside Park, 30,000 square meters of Chashan Park, 50,000 square meters of Zhushan Park and 140,000 square meters of Shennv Park.
