Red Maple Forest, Gulou Town, Hechuan District

Hechuan Gulou Red Maple Forest is located in Qilong Village, Hechuan District, Chongqing. The 1,000-acre American improved red maple has become a good place to enjoy the red leaves in autumn after years of cultivation. In the face of the large number of tourists and heavy traffic in the previous two Red Maple Festivals, the Attraction has improved its infrastructure, upgraded the Red Maple Observation Deck and the Jacaranda Observation Deck, renovated the 6.4-kilometer sightseeing loop in the core Attraction, built more than 20 new leisure trails, expanded the red maple forest by 120 acres, and uniformly planned stalls selling local specialties and rural delicacies.
