Huilongzhuang Sceneic Area

Huilongzhuang Attraction is located in Shuangfengchang, Simianshan Town, Jiangjin District, Chongqing. Under the shade of rolling green mountains, the whole manor is made of green bricks and tiles, ink-wash corridors, pavilions and patios, forming a unique and beautiful scenery with an antique flavor. The manor faces southwest and northeast, with a duplex courtyard layout, which is large in scale and magnificent. There are 16 courtyards, 18 patios, 202 rooms, 308 doors and 899 windows in the manor, which is not messy despite the large number.

The villa is a stone and wood structure complex supported by 328 stone pillars. The pavilions and corridors complement each other and are full of ancient charm. Exquisite carved beams and painted pillars, colorful and gilded paintings are found in every corner of the garden. The garden reproduces the prosperous scenes of the late Qing Dynasty, such as daily life, self-sufficiency, cultural activities, gatherings and exchanges in the manor, by setting up rooms such as boudoirs, wedding rooms, private schools, and kitchens. The contents of each exhibition hall are wonderful, detailed, precious and vivid. Who built the Simianshan Huilong Manor, which resembles the Forbidden City architecture? When was it built? Is it Wu Sangui's imperial manor? Emperor Jianwen's palace? Heshen's official residence? It is still a mystery to be solved in Chinese architecture and history.
