Fengsheng Old Town

Fengsheng Ancient Town, located in the southeast side of Chongqing City, was established in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty. It was once an important station for Chongqing to Nanchuan and Fuling. The town has a long history. It was named one of the first 20 "historical and cultural ancient towns" in Chongqing by the Chongqing Municipal Government in April 2002. With its unique charm attracts friends from all over the world. Fengsheng Ancient Town in Banan District is a national historical and cultural town, one of the top ten historical and cultural towns in Chongqing. Founded in the Song Dynasty, the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty was booming due to the development of business and trade. It is the first dry pier in ancient Baxian County. It is known as the "first dry pier in the Yangtze River". Its unique ancient commercial and cultural atmosphere is full of ancient streets and alleys, combined with the historical construction of the natural landscape pattern of "nine turtles looking for mothers". Fengsheng Ancient Town feels like a small town on the high mountain. There are not many tourists. The residents of the town live their lives leisurely. Bacon and glutinous rice and bean curd rice are their specialties. Walking on the bluestone road with a sense of age, it seems that they are also a member of the town.

Fengsheng Ancient Town, located in the northeast of Banan District, Chongqing, east of Zengfu Township, Nanchuan District Taipingchang Town, south of Dongwenquan Town, Beilian Shuanghekou Town, west of Mudong Town; "one foot on three counties", is the intersection of Banan District, Fuling District, Nanchuan District 3. East is 50 kilometers from the downtown area of Chongqing, 70 kilometers from Longzhou Bay, the seat of the Banan District Government, and 10 kilometers from Mudong to the south.

Near my home, I have been there several times. Gradually fell in love with this small place. When I think of the glutinous bamboo cake and the pea flower rice at the street corner, I can't help swallowing my mouth water. It's very comfortable to drink Zou Ji's roast wine, chew crisp peculiar Hu beans and walk slowly on the old stone street. Another bright spot is the Tankou Renshou Teahouse of the Pao Ge family, which is a miniature Memorial Hall of the history of rivers and lakes. Spend half a day shopping!

It's not a very famous old town, but it's worth visiting! There are not many tourists in the old town which spans three counties, and there is not much commercial development. Therefore, the original flavor of the town does not even accept admission tickets. Residents continue to live a comfortable life, many teahouses play mahjong.

Two days ago, I took my family to Fengsheng Ancient Town for a tour. There was nothing special in other ancient towns, but the air was very good. It was worth going to buy a lot of local products. Especially the handmade sweet potato powder was delicious. The children liked it very much. The name seemed to be Hongyagua. The friends who went to play strongly recommended it.
