Caocao Jiazumu

Located on both sides of Weiwu Avenue in Bozhou, it mainly includes Dongyuan Han Tombs, Caosi Gudui, Liuyuan Gudui, Xuejia Gudui, Guanyin Mountain Gudui, Zhangyuan Han Tombs, Mayuan Han Tombs, Yuanpaifang Han Tombs, Yuanbaokeng Han Tombs group etc. Covering an area of about 10 square kilometers, it is very large. According to literature records, there are tombs of Cao Teng, Cao Bao, Cao Song, Cao Can, Cao Yin and others in the south of Bozhou City. Archaeological excavations in recent years have confirmed that in addition to the tombs of Cao Teng and others recorded in the "Shui Jing Zhu", there are also tombs of Cao Ding, Cao Luan, Cao Xun, Cao Shui, Cao Xian and many other unknown tombs in the south of Bozhou City. It can be seen that the Cao family has formed a huge bureaucratic group since Cao Teng made his fortune, and its clan cemetery is vast. From the tombs that have been excavated, it can be seen that the tombs of the ancestors of the Cao clan are basically the same in shape and large in scale. It is composed of partial chambers, among which the representative ones are the stone-structured Cao Teng tomb and the brick-structured Cao Song tomb. In the tombs of the Cao clan, the tomb gates are mostly stone structures, decorated with carved stones, the walls of the tomb, and the top of the coupons are painted with colorful murals. There are precious cultural relics such as jade gangmao, jade pig, silver thread jade clothes and jade pillows unearthed. More than 800 tomb bricks with characters unearthed in the tomb are quite eye-catching. There are scriptures such as Li, Zhuan, Cao, Zhen, Xing, etc. The text contains the names of members of the Cao clan or local officials, as well as some words and phrases that reflect people's dissatisfaction with the society at that time.
