Better than Colva
This is a better place to stay and relax if you like peaceful stay and shopping area nearby (Colva Beach). Benaulim is more foreigner friendly and chilled place with laid back cafes and restaurants.

Nice Beach: Stray Dogs, Some Trash, Many Food Shacks
The beach itself is lovely, harmed by trash tossed by visitors or washed ashore, as well as by stray dogs. Many food/booze snacks line the beach. Water quality is variable.
