Shejitan

The altar of the community in Zhongshan Park is the only feudal emperor's national altar of the community and gods. Here is the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties who come here every year to hold the sacrifice activities, praying for the grains and the people's security.

The community is the "Taishe" and "Taishe" collectively, the society is the land god, the god of the grain, both are the most important foundation of agricultural society. Not only in Beijing there are national altars, local cities at all levels also have places to worship the community. The social altar was announced as a key cultural relics protection unit in 1988.

The altar of the society is located in the west of Tiananmen Square. It is the altar of the sacrifice society and the gods of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is located on the right (west) of the palace according to the provisions of Zhouli "Kaugong Ji". The ancestors and the society are symbols of feudal power.

When I was a child, I didn't know the "social altar", I only knew the "five colors of soil", and I didn't understand why the soil had such a variety of colors, I just felt magical. Later, I grew up and traveled all over the mountains and rivers of the motherland. I witnessed the colorful terrain and landforms. I gradually didn't like to go to the Zhongshan Park, which I was most fascinated with when I was a child. Maybe childhood memories are always more cherished when they are older.

She's located in Zhongshan Park on the west side of Tiananmen Square in Beijing. She's built according to Chinese legend. She's a 20-meter square platform, which is composed of five colors of earth, representing the land of Shenzhou. The emperor sacrifices the land god and prays for the people's security of the country.

The Royal Altar, which is closest to the Forbidden City, hides in Zhongshan Park on the west side of Tiananmen Square. There are entrances next to Tiananmen Square, next to the noon gate, and Nanchang Street. The charge is only 3 yuan, but it is low-key. Few tourists who visit the Forbidden City will know and visit here. The altar of the society in the Ming and Qing eras for the emperor to sacrifice the god of the society (land), the god of the god of the earth (the grain), are all important worship objects, and there is still the "blessing of the community". If you enter from the south, you will first pass the palace gate of the stone lion in the Song Dynasty, and pass through the comet gate and enter the wall. The altar area is not large, but it is composed of five colors of soil and is very distinctive. Even the famous temple of the world, the sun and moon, does not have such a view. The classical and elegant Zhongshan Hall built in the north has also become a very coordinated background.
