We didn’t know how amazing this place would be until we arrived at Balaam Beach (the pause point for our bike tour). Felt a bit “out of life” and very special. The beach is volcanic black sandy beach, at least 2 km long. We really enjoyed walking 2 hours before each sunset and generally not seeing anyone else. There are a few restaurants we enjoyed going to - but not listed on TripAdvisor. We loved this special place - a stunning beach for watching the sunset - good restaurant selection - the atmosphere of the small village - very laid back and quiet - the variety of daily yoga classes held at the hotel opposite the sushi restaurant was great

Beach scenery is still good, but here is the black sand beach, beside there is a stinky river, which destroys the scenery. There are not many tourists. It's very romantic to walk with your lover in the evening.
Most of the planting is tea, a green place, looking very comfortable. Many varieties of coffee are also here, and they can smell special flavors.
