Daikanbo is great

Just walk to the end and back, get fresh air. It has souvenir shop. Take taxi in front of the aso station to go there and back.

Rather educational, I enjoyed the stop. Restaurant didn't have much choice, particularly if you're not fond of curry

Beautiful crater.

It's too smoky during my visit so don"t get to see the blue water, it's took us only 30 mins to drive up from the Aso station.
