Unusual setting for art
Scattered around the station are a number of large pieces of sculpture. I had not realized their significance when I saw the first couple. The station is large and the works help fill in the space.

It is a free museum located in Asahikawa Station. I'm sorry for the people concerned, but I just entered because I happened to have free time. Photos are not allowed, so I will post only photos from the outside.

A small gallery located in the passage in front of the east ticket gate of Asahikawa Station. Free admission. When I visited, an exhibition entitled "Chairs Gallery" another small zoo "was held, and a small item with an animal motif and a 々 chair were exhibited. It is a good spot to kill time until the train leaves.
