In addition, the zoo has a very popular penguin walking event in winter, where you can see the penguins moving forward step by step along the snow path outside. Another thing is that many of the zoo's introductions are hand-drawn by the staff, which is very thoughtful. If you like animals, this is definitely a must-visit spot. Asahiyama Zoo's admission fee is 1,000 yen, which can be purchased together with the bus ticket at the bus ticket machine at Asahikawa Station.
