Highlights: Huanggangliang is the remnant of the Greater Khingan Mountains and consists of 27 peaks, of which Huanggang Peak is the peak of the Greater Khingan Mountains with an altitude of 2029 meters. On both sides of Huanggang Peak, there are ice buckets, glaciers, U-shaped valleys, moraine peaks, boulders, streaks, and mesolithic bodies formed by Quaternary glaciers. Huanggangliang Forest Area is the birthplace of the tributaries of the West Liaohe River, the Mushixiazi River and the Xilin River. It is located in the intersection of Mongolian flora, North China flora and Northeast flora. The biological distribution is diverse and has important protection value. The mountains are dominated by natural forests, with beautiful forests and meadows. There are high mountains and dense forests, more than 30 species of wild animals such as deer, roe deer, leopard, fox, wild boar, and more than a dozen kinds of mountain birds such as fighting cocks and pheasants. It is an ideal place for leisure hunting. There are larch or spruce forests with vigorous growth of trees and strong forest atmosphere. It is a rare natural forest community in Saibei area. It is open in July, and the forests are completely dyed in late autumn. It can be said that it is a more beautiful scenery on the road to Ashatu Stone Forest. The main scenic spots include Big Goose Head, Yuanyuandanzi Mountain, Shisandao Bay, Qixing Lake, Xijitai Forest and Grassland, etc.
