The resort has alot of potential with an exclusive beach, swimming pool and eloquent rooms (some with great views). Breakfasts are great. The manager was good and takes pride in the resort, however when he was not around in the afternoons and evenings service was rare and hard to find. You have to actively go look for restaurant staff to place an order or pay. The restaurant could be alot more profitable if staff actively removed plates and asked clients if they could get them anything e.g dessert, drinks. They charge a service fee, but with little service. It advertises a gym, but equipment is in disrepair, they should not advertise facilities which are not functional. There is not much around the resort in terms of restaurants, bars and shops. It is also not an easy location to get to, but yet we found the reception unhelpful in getting transport. All in all the resort could be great, but service needs to be improved.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom garden villa. Daily housekeeping was provided with fresh towels for bath and beach. Upstairs rooms both had individual AC’s and downstairs had a standing fan AC (which worked well). There is also a sauna (which we did not use - why when it’s already so hot?). The pool was lively and beach bar had excellent low cost cocktails. Beach chairs were comfortable and plentiful. Beach area is small but still plenty of space. Daily breakfast was mostly Vietnamese but provided eggs and pancakes for western guest. Coffee was Vietnamese (strong) and there was no dairy provided, only condensed milk. Front staff arranged 2 scooters for us within 20 minutes brought right to the hotel and we returned them at the front desk. Hotel is located right on Long Beach and is walkable to plenty of restaurants, cafes, laundry, markets. Grab is an easy option for something slightly farther. There is a small gym that was very functional (I’ve stayed in places with only a treadmill and dumbbell rack so this was much more). The grounds are kept up beautifully (even though there are some loud frogs in the pond’s surrounding the villas). Staff were always helpful and pleasant. Downsides - TV’s are pretty old (no HDMI access) and were unusable for us), some of the furniture and hardware is a bit run down, there was no real view in the garden villas, they could use a website and more social media presence. When we booked, they originally required a wire transfer instead of a simple credit card.

We are here now and I have read some of the poor reviews. I don't understand them. Rooms are great, pool is clean, tiled and grouped. Staff are so helpfull and friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day, bathrooms clean and showers are top notch compared to some we have stayed in to get here. Absolute value for money with picturesque views and all amenities you could need. The walk to the main street is a bit of a walk but not a hike. Take my word for it and don't take any notice of the bad reviews. THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC VALUE FOR MONEY. Only comment is breakfast could be a bit better, but not worth not booking because of it.
Hanz Sofia Hotel Grand World

I had a conflict with this hotel, I didn’t stay there and my money was not refunded. When I tried to report this to trip.com service team and they contacted the manager, the manager made up some details of our conflict, lied to trip.com that I “shouted loudly and scolded the staff”, which is absolute nonsense. The thing is the receptionist who is the only staff member left the hotel, while i was waiting for him to give me motorbike for rent, which has been agreed before. He didn’t say a word to me, he just disappeared. Later , when I contacted the hotel by number from their business card, the other person has told me, that the receptionist is her husband and he went to another hotel to help other guests check in. They have several hotels and don’t have staff, so the receptionist guy does shuttle runs between hotels. Just for the note, the description of the hotel says 24 hours front desk. Empty front desk. The biggest problem is that the manager, the wife of the receptionist, has told trip.com that I was being impolite, because I made my decision to not stay at the hotel, where I would constantly need to wait for the service (due to their problems of staff shortage). And she lied, said I was yelling at staff. Which staff, I don’t know. The guy, who btw doesn’t even speak English, was not there. How could I yell to anyone, if I was all alone at the lobby waiting for the receptionist. And when I realized, this hotel is not where I would be comfortable, I cancelled the booking and I told the manager that I did so. And left the key. I wouldn’t think I won’t be able to get my money back. The manager is a liar. And they didn’t give me refund.
Peppercorn Beach Resort

I had an incredible few days at the Peppercorn Beach Resort, their sea-front rooms are magical! That view is hard to beat, I wish I stayed longer, will definitely be back again. May, Du’ong & Tuyen and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I found the location perfect as you’re near a local fishing village and it didn’t feel too touristy. There’s plenty of activities at the resort, and they recommend some lovely walks and places to see. Any request you have they’re happy to help. I’m so glad I found this wonderful place - absolutely would recommend a visit but stay longer than I did!!
TRAI BI DO HOMESTAY

A simple hotel, with all the amenities, no questions about the hotel itself, the young man quickly resolved any issues that arose, the downside is the lack of any respect from the neighbors for other people's sleep, after 12 midnight there is a feeling that people do not know what sleep is, but on the contrary, just wake up

We were at this hotel in early December this year. Package tour from Anex Tour for 12 days with breakfast (BB). We were carefully prepared for the trip. We studied previous reviews, location of the hotel, etc. In the reviews mostly true comments. Noisy from the street, modest breakfast. But the location of the hotel, its proximity to the sea and most importantly the price predetermined the choice. In fact it turned out everything wasn't so scary. From the noise there are berushi. Moreover, this noise was in ten hotels next door. A modest breakfast is not so modest. A large cup of noodles on a meat broth and omlet or egg with a bulk was enough for two. The hostess served a fruit dish in the morning: mandarins, grapes, cut mango. Water in room 2 bottles only in the settlement. But in the cafe on the first floor of the hotel where breakfast was, there is a dispenser with boiling water and cold water. There you can dial in the same bottles of water and into the room and on the beach and for a walk. The hotel itself is not old, the elevators are noisy, the plumbing is new. Oka in the room to the floor. Diken air conditioner is perfect.Cleaning the room as everywhere in Vietnam. Changing towels every day. Towels to the beach on the respiratory were taken and changed twice a day. If three towels were needed, they asked three. The road to the beach was either through the Orange Resot Hotel, it was just left of the hotel exit, or on the road right of the hotel exit. Just behind the store C - March down. No cases of hotel administration refusal at the sea pass with me. Once I saw that a crowd of Chinese were not allowed. But it was late in the evening. By choice of room: we lived in room 201. He has the largest toilet and perhaps the largest area. The minus of this room is that the outer air conditioning blocks are on the wall behind it and if you don't close the door to the bathroom, sometimes they can be heard. The perfect choice would be number 202, 402. Planning the next trip to Fukuok, I would probably choose the same hotel (if there is certainly an attractive price).

We had a lovely stay, the accommodation was clean and beautiful. The accommodation is very one with nature, with the trees trying to take over the room and bathroom. There is decking situated right on the lake which is beautiful and very peaceful, a great place to sit and read, play games, reflect on life. There is a great simple but tasty breakfast menu.  It is a real shame they no longer offer dinner or lunch options, could otherwise easily spend a whole day here.  The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. You can hire scooters and get information for interesting things to do or see in the local area. We were given some excellent local restaurant recommendations which were very close by within walking distance. The beach is very close again walking distance and a great spot for sunset views.  There are a lot of dogs, that are friendly, one in particular can bark at you quite a bit but that’s about it, they mostly all want cuddles and stoking.  It can be hard to get a grab taxi at times, but there is Phong at the accommodation who provides a taxi service, but notice may need to be given in advance otherwise they will also be able to contact a taxi for you.  This is a great location to visit starfish beach, restaurants on stilts in the water, pepper and bee farms.  All in all an excellent stay!

We stayed in one of the bungalows just back from the beach for 7 nights over New Year. We loved it - it has the perfect chilled tropical holiday vibe we look for. It’s perfectly located near beach bars and restaurants as well as everything you need on the nearby laneway and main road. The room was very clean and the staff are lovely and helpful. The only nitpick is the breakfast is a bit boring in its simplicity but who cares! We’ll be back.

The room was spacious and featured a balcony with a stunning view of the airport. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The on-site massage service at the resort was incredibly convenient, adding a touch of relaxation to the stay. A perfect combination of comfort and practicality!
