3-Star Hotels in Phu Quoc Island

Overall this was a good stay, but I'm going to likely try someplace else when returning to Phu Quoc, mostly to find a better match for the vibe I like out of a beach resort. Staff was pleasant, but not overly memorable. The resort is a lot bigger than I thought and most of the clientele that I saw were couples and families. I had a beachfront bungalow that was very nicely furnished with a king sized four poster bed, a huge bathroom and an outdoor balcony overlooking the beach. You can hear the waves at night once the very loud EDM/hip hop coming from two directions cuts out around 3 am. I took a 'can't beat em, join em' mentality one night and strolled over to the loud beach bar next door at night to realize that all the loud music was playing for exactly six people who were all yelling to hear one another over the music and not even on the dancefloor. Breakfast in the mornings was good, there's a friendly little mouse that comes by to lap up the crumbs as you eat if you dine alfresco. If you're turned off by rodents, Phu Quoc might but be the best place for you fyi. The bar at the hotel was very small with about 10 stools, but the guys that worked there were nice and the vibe was pretty chill.

We stayed in one of the bungalows just back from the beach for 7 nights over New Year. We loved it - it has the perfect chilled tropical holiday vibe we look for. It’s perfectly located near beach bars and restaurants as well as everything you need on the nearby laneway and main road. The room was very clean and the staff are lovely and helpful. The only nitpick is the breakfast is a bit boring in its simplicity but who cares! We’ll be back.

The location of the resort is too deep. I made a reservation for some extent because of the review, but it is deeper than I thought ㅎ I think taxi is a must when I go out, and big buses will not come in. I applied for a pick-up while booking a tour, but I was worried about what to do if the car couldn't come in, but the van came in. Luxury? I've been at the resort for a week, so I had to find another place at first. I think it's good. (The first room assigned to smell cigarettes + cigarettes? + Vietnamese special intention? I asked for a room change because it was so bad, and the changed room was ok). There are many bugs, so it is a must for mosquitoes ~ Breakfast - I ordered it because there was no one on the first day, but it was a buffet from the next day, and I had pancakes and fried noodles. I ate delicious. Swimming pool - It was good to play with the baby in the lower place, and the deep place was so deep that it tasted good to play with the water ^^ The beach towel is also in the pool, and the rooms are surrounded by the pool, so you can play and wash right away. It was good. ☆☆☆ released in the resort? There are several dogs living together. There are countless dogs that have been released on the way in. I was a little uncomfortable because I was scared of the dogㅠ If you like dogs, it's okay. I think it's good to rest quietly!

The only minus is that from 8 in the morning the maintenance staff starts to make noise with the radios turned on at full volume. Really good hotel, the room is large, the bed and furniture are solid wood. The room has a refrigerator, TV, and you can cook outside the room. The bathroom is also oversized, and there is a large fully automatic washing machine. Although it is useless, it is really available. The room is in the yard, there are green plants in the yard, it is beautiful!

What a cozy and confortable hotel! Only like 5 minutes driving from the airport, 10 minutes driving to Duong Dong, this hotel is so great with cheap rate. The owner and his son are very nice, they served very well, very friendly. The son is also handsome and charming. The hotel is great, cozy, with a clean pool next to rooms. Every is good! Hotel is beautiful, clean, quite recently built. Located on the second line. We were in this hotel 2 times, we were in 2018, now we were in January 2020. The administration is very friendly, smiling. If you don't know the language, download Russian-Vietnamese and what you need on the resepschen show, you will do everything. We didn't just choose this hotel, there certainly no balconies, but it doesn't prevent rest and dry there especially nothing, swimming pools well dry in the shower room. The hotel is located deep from the road, so it is much quieter than in other similar hotels on the second line. Ask the room to go out to the yard, there is quite quiet and quiet. The only shortcoming of the hotel, breakfast is straightforward to say disgusting and uniform, coffee soluble, it's not coffee, so take with you. The room has a cup, a teapot, you'll drink there. We stayed in the 2 bedroom garden villa. Daily housekeeping was provided with fresh towels for bath and beach. Upstairs rooms both had individual AC’s and downstairs had a standing fan AC (which worked well). There is also a sauna (which we did not use - why when it’s already so hot?). The pool was lively and beach bar had excellent low cost cocktails. Beach chairs were comfortable and plentiful. Beach area is small but still plenty of space. Daily breakfast was mostly Vietnamese but provided eggs and pancakes for western guest. Coffee was Vietnamese (strong) and there was no dairy provided, only condensed milk. Front staff arranged 2 scooters for us within 20 minutes brought right to the hotel and we returned them at the front desk. Hotel is located right on Long Beach and is walkable to plenty of restaurants, cafes, laundry, markets. Grab is an easy option for something slightly farther. There is a small gym that was very functional (I’ve stayed in places with only a treadmill and dumbbell rack so this was much more). The grounds are kept up beautifully (even though there are some loud frogs in the pond’s surrounding the villas). Staff were always helpful and pleasant. Downsides - TV’s are pretty old (no HDMI access) and were unusable for us), some of the furniture and hardware is a bit run down, there was no real view in the garden villas, they could use a website and more social media presence. When we booked, they originally required a wire transfer instead of a simple credit card.

The location is in the night market. The boss is Chinese-Chinese. He speaks Mandarin and Chaozhou. He heats and helps solve all problems. The tourist attractions are explained clearly. Let you understand all the problems. The best choice for free tourists who don’t understand Vietnamese.

Вдоль моря идёт череда отелей, проходить можно через любой, охрана пропускает. Мы ходили через отель Гавайи, налево от нашего отеля. Спускаетесь к морю, через территорию отеля и там сразу же бар. В баре можно взять в аренду лежак. Стоит 120 донгов на одного. В стоимость входит: лежак на весь день, полотенце, бутылочка воды или колы на выбор, и фрукт( нам резали арбуз). В этом же баре можно пообедать, если вы проголодались. Пляж у них и заход в море самый чистый и удобный по сравнению с соседними отелями и в округе нет вони канализации. Бассейна в отеле нет, но это и не критично, мы приехали на море, а не в хлорке валяться. Номер убирают каждый день, докладывая по мере необходимости мыльнопыльные ( шампунь, гель для душа, мыло, зубные щетки, станки для бритья, расчестки, ватные палочки) полотенца в отеле белоснежные и меняют их каждый день. У отеля нет пляжных полотенец поэтому или берите что то из дома или арендуйте лежак на пляже. Можно конечно ходить с отельными, но если вы их сильно испачкаете, то вас попросят за них заплатить. Кондиционер работает отлично, единственное плохо, что дует прямо на кровать, но и это решаемо, мы на ночь убирали режим вентилятора, ставили на режим охлаждения и температуру выставляли 22 градуса. И спать комфортно и не продует. Кровати удобные, спать комфортно. Мы жили на 6 этаже, в угловом номере из окна вид на море и горы. Кто то жаловался, что слышат петухов по утрам, мы не слышали. Что касается завтраков, то они однообразные: яичница, супчик, рис, овощи, бекон, мясо, хлеб, джем, масло, чай, кофе, сгущенка, 2 вида фруктов. В отеле можно взять байк на прокат, стоит 500 руб сутки, если берёте на дольше, то дешевле. Если соберётесь в зоопарк, то билет можно купить прямо в отеле на ресепшн или спуститься до дороги (2 мин) и слева, на перекрёстке, будет здание, заходите внутрь и у девушки приобретаете билет, у неё же узнаёте расписание автобуса. Остановка прямо у этого здания. Нам в зоопарке очень понравилось. Только заранее купите с собой бананы и морковку ( лучше порезать) чтобы кормить животных, так как в самом зоопарке порции маленькие и стоят 30 донгов (1,5 доллара). Деньги мы меняли недалёко от отеля, спускаетесь к главной дороге, переходите ее и на право ( кафе Берёзка, заходите во внутрь, проходите столы и в глубине будет сидеть меняла, Даёте доллары или евро и получаете донги) и на лево от отеля, в сторону ночного рынка, магазин жемчуга. Ночной рынок находиться в 10 минутах ходьбы от отеля, если повернуть на право, работает примерно с 18:00-22:00 часов. Сходите, попробуйте морских гадов и мороженое. Так же вкусное мороженое в кокосе, продают на улицах. Кушать мы ходили в кафе 68, это мимо отеля Гавайи, после кафе Берёзка. Порции огромные, цены 120 - 130 донгов за порцию креветок или рыбы с рисом. Экскурсии можно брать на улице. До большого супермаркета Кин Конг ид
