I really enjoyed staying at cititel. The hotel is close to the food market, business area. So we can find various food around the hotel. They don't prepare a jug of boiling water, but we can use the dispenser near the lift.

Stay in Deluxe room, spacious, ample solid wood furnishing, bed, sliding wooden door curtain gave a antique warm feel, bathtub was a treat, many newer hotel wouldn't have bathtub for RM150 per night, marble bathroom floor and sinktop, looks wee b it aged but functions well. Personally for environmental friendliness, it is better to maintain quality aged furnishing in hotel rather than continuously dismantling older furnishing to change to new ones which likely to be of less quality, like no longer solid wood or marble. Lobby and breakfast area also have marble floor, lavish chandelier, wood frame walls. Breakfast though limited choice was quite tasty. Just one suggestion: please provide milk for coffee rather than just using creamer pack.

Good location from city at Gaya Street,easy for you next day go to Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal in 5min, nearby have market and shopping mall ,famous Fook Yuen Cafe for breakfast at opposite hotel ,there are Sabah souvenir for sale next to the hotel lobby,only one thing inconvenient,if rent car 🚗 driving at Sabah ,hotel no 🚫🆓 parking 🅿️ for guest,have to pay for rental Rm 30, if don’t want to use hotel parking ,outside have many parking place ,can used parking coupon for hour and after office hours at 5pm is free until the next day 8am ,hotel is good but hotel corridor was very very hot ,🥵 because of the glass ceiling,at night also cannot come out at relax enjoy night view

Overall ok. Perfect location. However, there is no toothbrush, toothpaste and shoe provided as per other compatible hotel. There is no enough power point provided in the room. The aircon temperature cannot be adjusted and there is only 3 room lights in the room and it is too yellowish. Not suitable for whoever who wants to work in the room. Breakfast is reasonable. WiFi is good. Maybe the hotel need some upgrade in the future. Other than this I have no other comment.

The provider did not gave clear instructions when we wanted to checked in resulting in us needed to go 2 times to the locker to pick up the card key. When we called to the owner also there was no professionalism because we can hear her talking to other person at the back and not finishing up the conversation that we had. It was quite frustrating as we needed to call her quite a few times just to finish checking in. The aircond also produced very loud noise and there was no wifi when we try to connect it. Even though, it stated there was Wi-Fi service provided.

A lil bit disappointed cuz it doesn't have enough space to lay a prayer mat. Still it's fine. The breakfast was good too. Overall everything, was good. Just to make sure to choose a room suitable according to the price. Well, i still recommend this hotel 😊😊 since it's located besides the shopping complex.

A good place because it has a beautiful and attractive swimming pool..recommended to stay here especially those with small families..all staff services are very good..when there is a problem with the room they act quickly..I am very impressed with the housekeeping because they are willing to come to change the blanket which is dirty late at night..next time will stay here again😘

Cons 1) Lift can be very long waiting during peak check out hrs. 2) Free parking space not provided. 3) Have a strong scent of smell near the sink and bathroom area, it smells like something not dried. Overall a great place and location for such affordable price. Hopefully it would be well maintained.

No restaurant around this area except for the restaurant in the hotel. Overall, the Room was clean and staff was friendly. Guests from the other room were talking loudly at night until midnight. The noise was making it difficult for us to sleep but we were also too lazy to call the receptionist. They stopped after the other guests made complaints and told them off.

The cleanliness is really impressive! Love the spacious room and location wise is very near to the city center. It is an added advantage if you have your own car to travel around the city

stay for a night here (twin room- seaview). the room was great. except for the iron & the board, u hve to ask them to deliver it to ur room (they delivered it within 5mins ;)). the breakfast was great too eventho its not very variety however the taste is good. the staff also nice. oh! they have rooftop restaurant & bar as well! the ambience were nice, the staff also very friendly! however their foods wasnt tht flavorful. i ordered nasi rendang daging, aglio olio, crispy cc, grilled cc and it tastes so bland & least favorite was cheesy nachos hmmmmm:/ however it can be improved ;) i hv a great stay anyway. would ill be stayin here again? yes. would i like to go for their foood (rooftop restaurant) nope :/ but for chill absolutely yes.

Clean room. Excellent housekeeping service . suggest to have the phone line repaired ( cracking sound) , unable to have a clear conversation with the receptionist . Other than the small issue, I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel.

Stayed here many time. Comfortable rooms and good buffet breakfast. I might got the cheapest room this round but it comes with one of the best view

This hotel provides conveniences to move around town as it is located in the heart of town. Not to mention the hotel itself is very comfortable, the staff is friendly, the facility is very clean and well kept. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

We stayed here before but we just walked to register and check in.. The location was very good.. Near to everything you need.. Such as KFC, Watson, Guardian, restaurant nad cafe.. Especially weekend, coz there is a night market called chester night market. I have 2 suggestion for this hotel.. 1. Pest control - our food was eaten by red ants which comes out from the electric sockets (photo attached) 2. Add more parking space for hotel instead of only 1 parking space provided We was staying at the 6th floor

The scent at the lobby was sooo calming. Feel like want to sleep there. Could’ve been better if the room was scented like the lobby. The fridge is not realy cold. Same goes with the aircond. But the breakfast was varied and scrumptious. The dinner buffet also was not dissappointing.The view was spectacular too! Gonna repeat!

I stayed for one night in the standard room. Surprisingly good in such a small budget hotel. Very clean and very comfortable, standard room facilities, in the safe in the room they even provide you with toothbrushes, combs and disposable slippers. (These are available in rooms only 4 stars and more than 4 stars now)...you can find many small restaurants (seafood) opposite the hotel. PS: The hotel front desk and the hotel backstage CCTV can be seen on room TV. They'll also deliver FOC coconut rice to your room in the morning.

The hotel itself is quite nice, but the breakfast was disappointing and could use some improvement. While the overall experience was pleasant, the quality and variety of the breakfast didn't meet expectations. It would be great to see the hotel put more effort into enhancing the breakfast options.

Bilik yg luas dan bersih... Dekat dgn pekan and easy to buy food and there have various food and drinks, nearby have 7eleven, starbucks, tealive, pizza and there also have seafood restaurant 😍 Worth it.. will definitely stay again😊
