Now more and more tourists charter this road, but public passenger transportation is still very inconvenient. At that time, there was no sophisticated engineering equipment, so the main tool of the road workers was cross-crust and explosives, because the explosive control improperly injured workers also have a lot. Later, there were many deaths, and 212 people were martyred by engineering accidents and natural disasters, and 702 were injured, with an average of more than 1 person per kilometer sacrificed. The 20-kilometer road from Tailu Pavilion to Tianxiang must pass through cliffs and hard marble rocks, so it is particularly hard to open, and the bridge tunnels of this road are also particularly large, becoming the main landscape in the future. When we drove to Qingqing Grassland and passed the Zhongheng Highway, we saw that the section of the road still under repair, and the road of gravel was also washed by rain. So the Zhongheng Highway is still relatively dangerous. Traveling to Taiwan should avoid its rainy season and typhoon weather.

Because there were few tourists during the epidemic, the whole center was like a private space, very comfortable and casual.

The Sino-Heng Highway, full name East-West Cross Highway or Central Cross Highway, referred to as Zhongheng Highway, is the first highway system in Taiwan connecting eastern Taiwan with western Taiwan.
