Zhenyuan Ancient Town is located in the Miao and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, southeast of Guizhou Province. It was built in the West Han Dynasty, and the name has been changed in the Song Dynasty. The ancient town covers an area of 3.1 square kilometers, and retains nearly 200 monuments such as ancient temples, ancient piers, ancient alleys, ancient opera houses and so on. Major historical attractions include Qinglong Cave, Zhongyuan Courtyard, Wanshou Palace, Zhusheng Bridge, Xianglu Rock, Tianhou Palace, Fuwei Ancient City, Wuwang Cave, Four Palaces, Heping Village, Zhou Dawen's former residence, etc.

Qinglong Cave, the ancient city of Zhenyuan, is the largest Ming and Qing ancient buildings in Guizhou Province. It has a long history of 500 years. It is a religious and cultural place where Confucianism, Shi, Taoism and Assembly Hall are integrated. The scenic spot has six components: Qinglong Cave, Ziyang Academy, Zhongyuan Temple, Wanshou Palace, Zhusheng Bridge, Lotus Pavilion and other six components.
