Zhenru Temple is located in Zhenru Town Street, Putuo District, Shanghai, covering an area of nearly 20 acres, with a construction area of 1370 square meters, Shanghai's famous Buddhist temple, formerly known as "Wanshou Temple", commonly known as "Great Temple", a national cultural relics protection unit. In Shanghai Putuo District, there have been many temples in history, but most of them have been destroyed. The remaining temples are the earliest and most influential to build the temple with Zhenru Temple. This temple was originally in the official site (near the current big field), which is called Zhenru Courtyard.
