抚仙湖距离昆明60多公里，交通非常方便，湖面广阔，湖岸线长达100多公里，湖水清澈，颜色深邃得宛如大海一般。湖边一圈都远远的映衬着黛青色的高山，很有一点瑞士日内瓦湖的味道。这个湿地公园很新，可能是刚建成不久吧，沿着湖边往里走上一段，人很少，格外清新。
