Yuchi Park is designed with plant landscape as the mainstay, combining terrain, garden roads, pavilions, pools, embankments, bridges and water rafts, fully reflecting the ecological effect of Jiangnan classical garden style and plant diversity. This site was originally built by Wu Langshu, a Xiucai in the Qing Dynasty, to commemorate his youth. The park was built on a 36-hectare scale and the government invested 200,000 to repair Yuchi Park in 2002. In 2004, the municipal government invested more than 5 million yuan to renovate its gate buildings and greenery, and built a new museum.
