Yuanshan Water Shrine Review

In order to provide water in Taipei, the Japanese government started construction in 1928 to build a "grass mountain waterway" to transport the springs of Yangming Mountain. The village is one of the relics of the grass mountain waterway system. The initial construction project was difficult, and some people died in the process. Later, employees of the water company raised funds to build a round landscape shrine to worship the water god, praying for the smooth operation of the waterway, and comforting the engineers in the spirit of heaven. Very close to the Yuanshan Hotel, it seems that this is actually the predecessor of the Yuanshan Hotel, but I have not visited the same building as the shrine. I think it should be a Japanese-style temple. There are quite Japanese-style around.

The Yuanshanshui Shrine is very close to the Yuanshan Hotel, but there is actually no shrine here, there is only a memorial place, but it feels like a Japanese-style place, and the scenery is good.

Yuanshan shrine is actually a Japanese shrine site, which has a stone tablet, mainly to comfort engineers, quite large, there are some flowers and plants around, the air is good.
