Ili has always been an important passageway from Xinjiang to Central Asia. In order to strengthen governance in the Yili area, Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty set up General Ili here. General Ili's Mansion is a historical witness to the reunification of the motherland and an important place for Xinjiang to commemorate the Xinhai Revolution. In 1996, the State Council approved and announced the fourth batch of key cultural relics protection units nationwide. The main building of General Yili's Mansion is a courtyard-style courtyard, a moth-style "human" beam bungalow with civil structure. The room is simple and elegant, and there is no beam sculpture. The entrance is two stone lions lying on their knees. The delicate shape of the southern stone lion blends with the rough skills of Xinjiang. The ancient trees in the courtyard are towering, and the four ancient trees are witnesses to the historical life. Standing in the front court, looking forward, there seems to be a difference in driving horses and flying to report the war.
