Star Sea Square is located on the southern coast of Dalian. It is the landmark of the city. It has a larger area than two Tiananmen Squares. It has not only beautiful seascapes and charming night scenes, but also beautiful beacons, sculptures, seawalls and even the surrounding tall buildings. Flocks of seagulls are flying freely along the seashore, interacting with tourists from time to time. Of course, they should use the ham sausages in the hands of tourists as props. The whole square is oval in shape. It runs through the green grass on both sides of the Central Avenue North and south of the square. The beacons and pillars are lined up to the sea. The square centre is currently being closed for maintenance. At the southern end of the square, there is also a huge city sculpture, like an open book, jokingly called a roller skating ramp, with a long relief footprint of thousands of people on the ground. In addition, you can also see the sculptures of athletes, roller skaters and other gestures, as well as the large music fountains surrounding the square. During the major holidays, we can also see the beautiful female mounted policemen patrolling on horses. Last time we came here, we had the privilege to see the elegance. This time we did not. Towards 17:00 p.m., we sat on the lawn of the square and waited for the fountain to open. As soon as 17:00 arrived, it was accompanied by soft music. The fountain slowly spurted water, but the water flow was not big, the spray was not high, the shape did not change. It was not as shocking as we imagined. Should we wait for a major festival?
