Xiangyang Museum Review

There is actually not much expectation for the exhibition of the Xiangyang Museum, because I have been to some municipal museums, and I feel that the protection and exhibition of cultural relics are obviously a bit perfunctory. So when I passed the security check, I saw a copper horse standing in the exhibition hall, I didn't take this seriously at all, thinking that this big scorpion was placed in the exhibition hall, and even a glass cover was not put. Will it be a replica? 🙄 So I didn't read the explicit introduction or take pictures, so I went upstairs to find the exhibition hall under the guidance of the security guard. But when I finished visiting the Xiangyang Museum, I realized that this museum actually put the treasure of its own town hall, so it was placed in the hall. 😂🙈 This bronze horse is 163 cm tall and 163 cm long. It is the earliest (three countries) and the largest bronze horse in China's current unearthed era, which can be called "Huaxia's first bronze horse". 🙊 After I learned the truth, I wanted to turn back to the first floor but found that the museum's line design was one-way. After walking out of the exhibition hall, I went back to the entrance hall and said to the security brother: I thought it was a replica, but I didn't expect it to be true. I wanted to go in and take pictures. 🙉 The security brother squinted his eyes disdainfully, and waved his hands for me to enter. He must have said "cough... I don't know the goods." 🌸 The cultural relics on display in the museum are limited, and they can only show the most representative ones to everyone. The history of Xiangyang is too long. Where should I start? 🌹 Let's start with the Neolithic era. 😍 The most unearthed in the Neolithic era are pottery bowls and pottery pots, but Xiangyang there are intact Taodings in the museum. 🐥 There are also these three small birds, can you see it? It is three pottery-plastic birds, unearthed in 2005 at the Wangshugang site in the urban area. 🌈 In addition, Xiangyang a lot of bronzeware was unearthed. In addition to the treasure bronze horse of the town hall on the first floor, there are also the "big Sima" copper Ding in the Warring States, the "father of the late Shang Dynasty" copper geese, and the early spring and autumn "hammer scale copper pot" and so on. 💎 Dongjin Chenpo Tomb was excavated in 2006, and many cultural relics from the Warring States period were unearthed during the same period. This tomb alone can open a special exhibition, but the low-key Xiangyang museum only opened a few exhibitions, showing the most exquisite cultural relics. 👌 came to the third floor and opened a new era. Yes, several large tombs have been excavated here. The "Liu Biao" tomb of the Three Kingdoms period was excavated in 1994. In 2008, the Caiyue community of the city also found a large tomb of the Three Kingdoms period. The beautifully-made pottery building was unearthed. The door of this pottery building on the first floor was unearthed. Through the millennium, it can still open and close. 👍🐮 There are too many good things in this museum, so the focus on the exhibition is on the cultural relics of the Tang Dynasty before. As for the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it is only a little bit taken with two exhibition halls. 🐼 After visiting the museum, you can also visit Zhaomingtai. Zhaomingtai was originally built to commemorate the Southern Dynasty Liang Zhaoming Prince Xiao Tong.
