Windsor Castle is the largest and oldest inhabited castle in the world. It was built in the 11th century and is now the principal administrative residence of the Queen of England, where official and private activities are often carried out. The design of the castle has evolved over time, with royal preferences and financial changes. Many features are mixed with classical and modern elements. Visits are divided into upper, middle and lower districts. The legendary story of King Edward VIII "not loving rivers and mountains and loving beauties" made Windsor Castle more famous. Windsor Castle also has the Royal Guard's change-of-duty ceremony, which takes place every day from April to July in good weather, and every other month every other day, except Sunday, which starts at 11:00 and lasts for about 45 minutes. However, the change-of-duty ceremony is carried out in the square inside the castle. It should be noted that the time of the change-of-duty ceremony in the square is prohibited from leaving the exit. After the tour, you can also stroll around Windsor Town, where the famous Eton Public School, the Royal Jockey Club and other attractions, the castle exit right turn straight about 200 meters there are ECCO stores worth visiting.

Who doesn’t love the Windsor Castle— The Royal Residence? Stunning castle with mixed Gothic, Victorian and Georgian Architectural elements that makes the castle unique and beautiful! I’ve been here thrice: once when I was younger with family and friends, then in 2019 when my relatives from abroad came to visit us and in during the pandemic, I cycled from London to Windsor Castle! Highly recommend! also Legoland is located nearby and Eaton College as well! There’s a lot to see and do here!

    4/5Excellent

Windsor castle is one of the oldest castle in the world and good. You will enjoy with family and friends. One day trip and you will be refreshed after visiting Windsor and the castle. I have 4 stars and 1 star minus for no photography allowed inside castle (closed areas). Some points are very good and nice and good for photography (open area). Well maintained and green.
