Hugo, a famous French writer who was exiled to Fianden three times in 1863, 1865 and 1870, loved Fianden and the surrounding landscape. Hugo's former residence is now converted into the Hugo Museum, which displays Hugo's experience during his stay in Fianden, some furniture he used and paintings of his landscape in Luxembourg. The Hugo Museum truly reproduces the scenes where Hugo lived when he was exiled to Luxembourg, his desk, the scenery from the window, his manuscripts, paintings, stories.

The house is opposite the Fort Fianden, by the small bridge of the river below the valley. It displays a large number of Hugo manuscripts, as well as the furniture he uses, and there is a statue of Hugo sitting and thinking in the house. Through the window, you can see the Fiandeng Castle on the opposite mountain. The environment is really good.
