Truman Little White House Review

The tour guide was very knowledgeable with a sense of humor. We learned a lot about the Little House and the Truman's. If you are a history buff you will enjoy it.

The original Navy dormitory, later because former President Truman vacation here, is called Truman Little White House. It is a beautiful villa, beautiful environment, many exhibits in the pavilion, the photos of the presidents on the wall and their achievements tell us about the history of the United States.

This trip was the best we had in Key West. The guide was very helpful, he provided us with a lot of information, shared many local experiences and fun with us, making our trip very satisfying and really enjoyable! The rooms are very comfortable and welcoming, and we had the ultimate experience on this trip.

The small White House was named after former US President Harry Truman, who was rehabilitated here. The small White House, as the name implies, once had the function of the White House. It was built in 1890 and used as a dormitorium for Navy officers. By 1946, President Truman had begun to work and rest here, laying the groundwork for subsequent US presidents to follow suit on summer vacations. Today, the official function of the "Little White House" is no longer there, and it is simply a place for tourism and private parties. Still, there are traces left by President Truman.

Very quiet place, follow the navigation, don't miss it. If you walk from the south and pass the gate, don't miss the side door. It looks like a private garden. No one is watching the door. You can walk in. You can see the environment. It is good. There is a small road to the north. Sunset Square.
