Tomb of Prince Zhang Huai Review

Zhang Huai Prince Tomb is a more general cemetery in the Qianling Cemetery. It is reflected that it is a little far from the main tomb, the specifications are slightly lower, the place is not big, and the funeral products are slightly less. This is good, relatively clean, and there are fewer tomb thieves.

The original wall around the tomb of Prince Zhang Huai, 180 meters in length from the north to the south, 143 meters in width from the east to the west, the east and the northeast, the corners of the three sides still remain on the ground, the entire tomb area covers about 26,000 square meters. The tomb is composed of tomb path, passage, patio, ramp, front and back rooms, and the total length is 71 meters. The tomb road is 28 from the north of the middle. The slope, the tomb road is 20 meters long and wide 2.5 meters~3.3 meters. There are 4 groups of murals on the east and west walls of the tomb road, and the east wall is the travel map, the guest map, the honor map and the Qinglong map; the west wall is symmetrical with the polo map, the guest map, the honor map and the white tiger map.

The tomb of Prince Zhang Huai was sealed with a bucket shape, with a base minister and 43 meters wide, a top minister and 11 meters wide, and a height of about 18 meters. There are still a remaining pair of earthen rafts about 50 meters south of the sealing mound, a height of4.5 meters, a base minister and a width of 5 meters, and a pair of stone sheep in the south of the earthen raft. 章怀太子墓，墓中壁画五十多幅，保存基本完好。其中"打马球图"、"狩猎出行图"、"迎宾图"、"观鸟捕蝉图"等都很精彩。显示了唐代高超的绘画水平。 墓内还出土大量陶器等文物。制作精美，造型生动，实为唐代线刻画之精品。

章怀太子墓位于乾陵东南约3公里处。章怀太子名贤，是唐高宗李治和武则天的次子，在高宗的子女中是较有才的一个。其墓的结构与永泰公主墓基本相似，只是小些。
