Wuxi Sanguo Film and Television City (Wuxi Three Kingdoms Film and Television City), also known as the CCTV Wuxi Film and Television Base, is located on the shore of beautiful Taihu Lake in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. It is the first national AAAA-level tourist attraction in China, and is also the first super-large-scale full-immersive film and television shooting and tourism base in China. The film and television base was founded in 1987, and is the first cultural and tourism project in China with the theme of film and television culture and tourism. Wuxi Sanguo Film and Television City attracts hundreds of film crews to shoot more than 1,000 TV series and movies here every year with its unique function and charm, and attracts more than 3 million visitors to explore the mysteries of film and television production and tourism every year. And with the continuous renovation and changes of the scenic spot and good service, the popularity of the increasing, the number of camera crews and tourists here has steadily increased year by year, which is second to none in the industry, and is the earliest and most successful film and television base recognized in China, known as "East Hollywood". Located on the verdant mountains of the army and the beautiful shore of Taihu Lake, the Three Kingdoms Studios is a large film and television cultural scenic spot built by CCTV for the shooting of 84 episodes of the TV series "The Three Kingdoms Performances". CCTV in 1994 filmed "Three Kingdoms Performances": "Liu Bei recruits relatives", "Fire Chibi", "Hengyi Fu poetry", "Grass boat to borrow arrows", "Borrowing Dongfeng", "Zhuge hanging filial piety", "Tongue Wars group Confucian" and more than ten episodes of heavy drama are filmed here. It also affected countless different types of ancient costume dramas to shoot here. The film city covers an area of 35 hectares, and it is another film and television city that integrates film and television shooting and tourism functions after the Tangcheng scenic spot launched by Zhongshi shares.
