Thousand-Buddha Cave Review

Keqier Thousand Buddha Cave was dug in the 3rd century AD, and it gradually stopped construction in the 1st century AD, lasting for up to 600 years. From the historical significance and archaeological value, the Krjar Thousand Buddha Cave in Akzubai City is recorded in history because of its earlier opening time and longer construction cycle. We have seen several Western tourists visiting Thousand Buddha Cave in the scenic area, which shows its great influence. At the gate of the scenic spot, you can see the statue of the modern-built Buddhist monk, Morosh, sitting on the round altar in front of the mountain. On the artificially carved cliffs, the grottoes are still intact, but visitors are only allowed to watch outside, and visitors are not allowed to enter the grottoes. It is said that many statues in the grotto have been destroyed or stolen, so the ornamental nature is weak. Although the scenic spot received our 55 yuan ticket, it is commendable that more strict management is to better protect the cultural relics in the Thousand Buddha Cave.
