The White House is the residence and main office of the President of the United States. It is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Northwest District, Washington, DC. Since the arrival of the second President of the United States, John ∙ Adams in 1800, the White House has been the residence of previous Presidents of the United States. Today's White House complex includes buildings such as the Executive Mansion, the West Room, the East Room, the Eisenhower Executive Building and the Blair Palace. The Executive Mansion has five floors, including basement, hall, country, second and third floors.
