The Park at Fourteenth Review

The Park is a great location to go to and just have fun. The food is ALWAYS good, and the service never fails. I always enjoy meeting friends at The Park after work.

There are very few hip places in DC None are better than the park. Amazing DJs and exciting welcoming clientele. We had dinner and the food was excellent. The wings were the best I have ever had and I definitely recommend anyone traveling to DC to stop in for a happy hour treat Want a great drink-ask Nick to make it for you!

I went to the Park at 14th a couple nights ago and I was very disappointed. I probably will not EVER go back and here is why. When I got there, the line was not long, the check was not overly intrusive and they had a reasonably priced coat check (that's why they got the one star). Getting to the coat check, the bar, the dance floor was the hassle. The bar and coat check are literally two steps apart, you turn around from the coat check and its right in front of you BUT because they have WAAAYYY to many people inside, it takes some savy maneuvering around 10 to 20 people just to watch the bartender run around pouring everyone but you a drink. Looking up at the crowd and then looking down and shaking their head. They allow so many people in at once you can't walk to a different location with out rubbing up against someone, being tapped by a stranger to get by, or feeling like cows being herded into a room just to realize that the same thing is going on. I could not enjoy the music or anything I just wanted out! Yelling over music to get to know someone is also not my idea of a lounge type of place either.
