The Egyptian Museum in Cairo Review

A must-see to Cairo, built in 1863. Tickets are cheap, showing artifacts from thousands of years, as well as statues of Pharaohs, mummies, Egyptian artworks and Egyptian living utensils.

Very nice museum that is worth going to. Highlight is definitely the room with King Tut’s tomb, but you’re not allowed to take pictures in it.

This museum has so much to see inside that even if you spent 3 days there, it would not be enough! So much to learn and see, so much to take in, the history and the culture - all inside a lovely museum!

Buying on site is cheaper, probably less than $10, probably because the Egyptian pound has depreciated. This is the old museum, the new museum has not opened yet. The things inside are interesting, but the museum itself is very shabby. There is no wifi inside. It makes people feel like a market, not so solemn. Some can't take pictures, like Tutankhamen, which is right.
