Temple of Hera Review

The temple is small in size and contains the statue of the goddess Hera. It is the oldest existing building in the Olympia site, built around 600 BC, and is one of the earliest temples in Greece. The first ancient Olympic Games were held here in 776 BC, thus opening the Olympic movement for more than 2,000 years. On the tall stone, there are still a few tall gray-brown columns, suggesting the grandeur of the past. The altar of Hera, east of the temple, is where the flame of the modern Olympic Games is lit. Many of the buildings and facilities of Olympia's archaeological relics are built for sports competitions.

Hera is the wife of Zeus, the temple, although only the ruins, but is the holy fire collection of the modern Olympic Games.

The Olympia Memorial is mainly the Temple of Zeus and the Temple of Hera. The Olympic Games every four years are from the front of the Temple of Hera, and the selected girls use glass to focus the sun light to light the flame, and then spread to the world.

Through the huge stone pillars of the Temple of Hera, you can imagine the scene of the year.

This temple is still very good, and it is also a ruin left many years ago. It is still fun to play. The surrounding scenery is generally the same. There are not many tourists here.
