Debo Temple is an ancient Egyptian Temple rebuilt in Madrid. The temple was built in the 2nd century B.C. and was originally located 15 kilometers south of Aswan, Egypt, for the worship of the goddess Isis. Sixty years ago, because Egypt needed to build the Aswan Dam, many monuments and archaeological sites were in danger. UNESCO calls for the protection of these threatened historical heritage internationally. Eventually, as a thank-you to Spain for its assistance in protecting Abu Simbel's temple, Egypt forced the temple to Spain, which took Spain about six years to accept and complete the reconstruction of the temple in Madrid. The Temple of Deborah is beautiful to watch the sunset. There is a hill behind it that overlooks Madrid. It's absolutely a wonderful place.
