The Pillar of Life Cathedral is located in the city of Mtsjeta, in the northwest part of Tbilisi, also known as the Church of Svette Skwiri. The church is one of Georgia's most sacred and magnificent churches and the second largest holy place of Christ after Jerusalem Church, known for its cloak of blood and pillars of early church architecture. The cathedral is magnificent in appearance and has a circle of walls on the periphery. The interior is gorgeous and fine, with many fine murals and maps. Architectural style with dome and cross-shaped planes. There is also the tomb of several members of the Georgian royal family, including the last two generations of kings of Georgia.
