If your hungry in the Museum then you will eat here. The food tasts good. They have a variety of food but it's pricy for what you get. If you can eat somewhere else.

As always, our reviews are solely based on our particular likes/tastes/experiences; they are never intended to persuade/dissuade anyone from patronizing a business. As many other reviewers have stated, this place has the location....if it didn't not sure they'd make it. We'd been on our feet all day and were hungry. We'd eaten in the Cafeteria (Restaurant Associates) at the Museum of Natural History earlier in the week and - compared to this - was much better. They have all the usuals, hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, drinks and on and on but we don't care for food already put out under the heat-lamp. My wife had a salad, which they weigh at the check-out. It was somewhat wilted and the veggies had better days but it was towards their closing time. She ate it but wasn't impressed. I had a burger with bacon. Now, when I approached the cook (?) I told him I didn't want any cheese on my bacon burger....after looking at me oddly, he simply took a handful of bacon from the grill, dumped it on a regular burger that had been sitting there under the lamp for who knows how long and passed it to me. Oh well, when you're hungry you take what you can get! The burger was dry, somewhat pink in the center and the taste....not sure where they buy their hamburger but it left a lot to be desired. That coupled with the extra greasy bacon and you have a great case of heartburn. We knew going in everything was going to be expensive and we weren't disappointed - I believe the burger, salad, a water and coke ran us about $24. My advice and If you can wait, there are plenty of vendors outside with a variety of fares from american to oriental and beyond; the food is fresher and the prices are cheaper in the long run. Would we return, most likely not. Would we recommend this place, how could we?

The food was decent but it was very overpriced. They can get away with it since it is more convenient than leaving and walking to a restaurant or trying to find a good food truck. They had a decent selection so if you are in a group everyone should be able to find something they like. My husband got a hamburger with fries and a fountain pop and I got a pork Bahn Mi sandwich. I think our total was just shy of $30.

Best I can do on this review is Overpriced and tasteless. While it may be convenient while you are visiting the Museum of American History, best eat somewhere else before you are disappointed as we were. A Turkey BLT sandwich was $10.50 and worth about $6.00 and a small orange was $2.00. Teenagers at the table next to us were complaining about the $6,75 pizza (yes, $6.75 per slice!!! and quite small at that). Find a food truck!
