Sihanoukville, on the southwestern coast of Cambodia, is the largest seaport in Cambodia. Sihanoukville was built after 1950 and is a relatively new city and more modern than other cities in Cambodia. During the war, Sihanoukville was renamed Kampongsen Harbour, and in the 1990s, the name of Sihanoukville was restored, and many people referred to it as West Port.

From Siem Reap to Sihanouk, take the Hotle Bus of 168 local companies. It arrives in about 8 hours. The price needs bargaining. I remember it's 12 dollars. The place is relatively small. There are few Europeans and Americans in a very clean seaport. The hotel has a high cost performance ratio and basically has a swimming pool. We like to rent motorcycles ($4-5) and play around the harbour line. It's also interesting to rent a boat, or a speedboat to enjoy the sea, or to spend a day at the seaside and in the waves and enjoy a seaside spa quietly.
