Tokyo's largest attraction. Shinjuku District (しんじゅく く) is one of the 23 special districts in Tokyo, Japan, and the most famous bustling business district in Tokyo and even in Japan. Shinjuku is located in the central west of downtown Tokyo. Shinjuku Station is one of the most important traffic points on the west side of downtown Tokyo, including the headquarters of JR Yamanote Line, JR Central Main Line, JR General Bus Line and the private railway company Keio Electric Railway. Shinjuku District, Shibuya, Ikebukuro are listed as one of the three top-notch capitals of Tokyo. There are a large number of corporate headquarters and government agencies in Shinjuku. The Tokyo Metropolitan Office is located in Nishi Shinjuku. The name "Shinjuku" comes from the Sukaku-Indo Shinjuku, a place on the street of Kazhou.
