The first is the water system, the village has dark canals, Minggou, Kaner wells, ponds, streams. The structure of the dark canals is particularly clever, it is 800 meters long, about 4 meters deep underground, wide 1.5 meters, 2 meters high, throughout the village. The bottom of the canal is paved with pebbles, and the building on the canal is vaulted. Adults can enter and exit dredging, and the canal water is clear and sweet. In order to facilitate water collection, a water raft is opened every certain distance. Because the water raft is relatively deep, the locals call it Australia, and the village name of Shenzhen Australia is also derived from it. The second is the ancient building, the ancient village has more than 100 traditional buildings, the area is nearly 40,000 square meters, of which there are more than 40 Qing Dynasty buildings. The cow legs, window flowers, characters, animals on the ancient buildings all tell the past glory. In June 2006, Shenao Village was listed as a provincial historical and cultural protection village due to its complete preservation of rare ancient architectural communities, and then was listed as a national historical and cultural protection village.
