The Sheldrick is a wildlife conservation organization based in Nairobi National Park. The trust has a number of focuses but is particularly known for its "orphans' project", a rescue and rehabilitation program for orphaned elephants and other animals. The Sheldrick opens its doors to the public at 11am daily for just one hour, when visitors are invited to see the baby elephants being fed. It's an interactive experience and spectators are encouraged to pet the elephants and find out more about the work the trust does.
